• Once any order and its payment are fully processed, we pack items for shipping. This is done with special care, so that they reach the customer in perfect condition. Our couriers deliver these items at the address submitted by customers while filling up the online order form.
  

• The Shipping Address is where a customer wishes to receive his order. It could be his home or office.
  

• Once a customer places an order, he can instruct us to store his shipping address so that he doesn't have to enter the address again. This is the Preferred shipping Address.
  

• Shipping time is the time taken to deliver an order at a shipping address, after the order has been shipped out. It depends on where the customer stays and on the Shipping Method selected while filling up the online order form.
  

• Our official couriers can use third party services of any other couriers as the case may be for delivery. But any damages or non-delivery of items is the sole responsibility of our official couriers and firstandsecond.com
  

• When filling up the online order form, a customer can choose between :
  
  Standard Shipping
  This usually takes 2 to 4 business days to deliver consignments across India depending on the geographical location and conditions.
  
  Improved International Shipping
  You can have orders delivered around the world. It usually takes 3 to 6 business days to ship consignments, depending on the geographical location and conditions. Now at much reduced rates.

   Introducing Econo-US shipping

  You can now take advantage of this economy shipping to the United States. Through this option you can save upto 22% of the standard International shipping.

  The locations are divided into 6 ZONES. Each Zone has a different Freight Rate. Click here to find out which Zone a particular country falls into. Incase the country is not listed, mail us at services@firstandsecond.com and we will try our best to help you.
  
  The rates for each Zone are given in the table below. All rates are in Indian Rupees.

• We accept and ship orders all over the world but there are few titles which can only be sold and shipped to SAARC countries i.e. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Afganistan. 





• The actual time taken to deliver an order depends on the availability of items ordered, the time taken by payments to reach us and the shipping method selected by the customer.
  Payment Realisation Time + Longest Item Availability + Shipping Time = Total Delivery Time.

• When an order contains several items with varying status, the customer can instruct us to Wait till all items become available before shipping (minimises shipping cost).
  Or Ship items, as they become available (at extra shipping cost). In this case every individual item is shipped separately.  Naturally, this method involves multiple shipping and consequently recurring shipping costs.

• We make every effort to send similarly available items together, though we cannot guarantee it. We may occasionally send items in separate boxes even if a customer chooses to wait until all items are available. This will not affect the shipping charge.
  

• We will send an e-mail as soon as an order is shipped out. This will also inform a customer about his order as well as when he can expect his order to arrive at his shipping address.
  

• We take great care to check and recheck your order items before we ship them to you. However, should you ever get a wrong item, please inform us by sending an e-mail to services@firstandsecond.com . We will then direct our courier to deliver the correct item at your shipping address as well as collect the wrongly sent item at the time of delivery.

• The shipping charges are as per the following table. All rates are in Indian Rupees and US$.

• The Shipping rates given below are applicable for books and music/movie cassettes/CDs.
  
  Note: If music/movie cassettes/CDs are bought along with a book, you will only pay shipping for the book.
  

• The International Shipping consists of three possibilities. These are as follows:
  

  • Only Books or only Movies are ordered.
    
    (Rate for First Book + (No. of books ordered - 1) X Additional Book)
    

  • Only Music(CDs / Cassettes) are ordered.
    
    (Rates for First 3 CDs / Cassettes + [(No. of CDs / Cassettes ordered - 3) / 3] x Additional 3 CDs / Cassettes)
    
    Note: If result value of [(No. of CDs / Cassettes ordered - 3) / 3] is negative, then this would be considered as "ZERO". If the result value is positive decimal no., then it must be rounded off to next higher whole no. i.e. "0.2" will be considered as "1", "1.8" as "2" & "-1" as "0".
    

  • If you buy both Books as well as Music/Movies.

    Note: {(No. Of Music/Movies) - ( No. of Books - 1)} / 3 would never be negative, if it is negative, then this would be considered as "ZERO".   This means you are enjoying free shipping on a music/movie CD/Cassette on every additional purchase of book. i.e. If you buy two books, you will get free shipping on one music/movie CD/Cassette, if three, free shipping on two music/movie CD/Cassette.
